We ship five days a week, and are dedicated to doing everything we can to help you get a foal. (Actually we also ship Saturdays and Sundays via Greyhound bus, if you are in Washington, Oregon or Idaho). I trained at both the Colorado State University Vet School short course program of Equine Reproductive Management and Artificial Insemination, as well as the UC Davis Vet School Breeding Management short course. In addition, my breeding consultant is Dr. Juan Samper, one of the top theriogenologists in the world (he literally wrote the textbook on many vet schools use on Equine Breeding Management and AI). We analyze every semen collection and provide a full report to your vet with the shipment. We check for millions of sperm/ml with a semen counter; we look at every collection for motility; and we keep a back-up sample here so we can monitor progressive motility at 24 and 48 hours. We also have Amorex's semen analyzed on a yearly basis by Dr. Samper. All of these steps help ensure that the semen we send your mare has high fertility and has been handled and extended in the best way possible.
