Altair sedish warmblood Altair

What has Altair won? Let me count the ways...We are incredibly proud of Amorex's first approved stallion son. At his SWB foal inspection, Altair was 25 points and the Swedish judges said they would like to see him as a stallion prospect later, and please don't geld him. As a foal, Altair won the B.C. Sporthorse Grand Championship against horses of all ages. He came back as a yearling, and was named Grand Champion again, at the B.C. Championship. As at two-year old, he was invited to be inspected by the Canadian Warmblood Breeders Association, and was approved at age two. Then as a three year old,he came back and won the B.C. Grand Championship again, and the Governor's Trophy! (Altair was later gelded, and sold as a hunter to California).

Ari
Ari was the first Amorex baby to be awarded Diploma in the Young Horse Riding test. Awarded 50 points, he was the highest score in the riding test for 2004. 8 on type, 8 on suitability, 9 on all three gaits.

Bred by Johanna Kern, Meadow Brook Stock Farm in Montana. Veterinarian Lori Lauver was looking for a young horse that would have the talent to excel in dressage; she asked her trainer, S judge Trip Harting, to help her evaluate the videos. As soon as they saw the colt from Montana, Trip said "this is the one".

Lori and I have gotten to be good friends as she e-mails me her adventures showing Ari in the Los Angeles area. Here's what she said in January:"I'm having so much fun! with Ari - trail ride, arena ride, show - you name it - he's comfortable with it.  the only thing we don't do is drive and jump.  He learns so quickly and is so steady and safe - imagine taking a 4 year old alone on the trail and cantering along."  (Update: Lori and Trip are now showing Ari at 4th level) More >>

Gaea

Amorex/

Hi Mary.
We welcomed filly number two this morning. Gaea delivered a beautiful
big filly. She's as big as Ambrielle - who is now three weeks old.

Both Gaea and filly are doing great. We haven't decided on her name for certain but Phoebe is a leading candidate. Gaea is from ancient mythology and as the story goes she had a daughter named Phoebe.

It is going to be wonderful to watch the two half-sisters grow up together. Ambrielle is quite the ham. She loves attention and likes to be the center of it just like her mom Callie. We can't wait to see the two fillies playing together in the pasture.

Thanks again for helping with our decision to breed. These are beautiful filly's from two very different mares.
Best regards,
Diane McNelis

Madeleine

Our beautiful, sadly departed mare. Amorex/Sierra Symphony. Madeleine was one of the best we ever bred; she had the easy ability to passage whenever the spirit moved her. We hope she is having lots of apples in heaven.

Neemo
2009 SWB colt
Amorex/Nadiwa

Hello Mary!
Didja get the photos? I picked a name for him today....It's available with all the registries as of today and I found it on a Swedish baby name site as well so seems ok....OK, here goes, "Neemo". (wait, I have a vision of a little striped cartoon fish....) Anyway that's it. My husband says he likes my first impulse of Noodles and is going to keep calling him that. Great. So little Noodles, mmm, I mean Neemo, is doing grand and the mare is doing well also. He is very calm, inquisitive and sturdily built. Lovely. At 3 hours old was cantering quietly around a 12x16 stall!

Presto

Presto was a beautiful Amorex/appaloosa filly, bred by Emily Briggs DVM. She will be sadly missed; we were very proud of our first appaloosa baby.

Prospero

2004 gelding, Amorex/Sierra Symphony. Beautiful horse, wonderful gaits. Sierra is a full Swedish warmblood mare; Prospero has the calm, easy intelligence from both parents. Owner Melanie Louderback e-mailed, "I can't say enough on Prospero.   What a gem."
1st class rating at inspection, 8-8-9 for 25 points, one of the highest scores in north america that year. (9 for gaits).

Stormy

Perfect Amorex filly bred by Nancy Dvorscak of New York from Windy, her Trakehner-arab mare.Nancy said "The foal has a beautiful head and is quite big.  She is very closely marked to Avante (Amorex sure knows how to stamp these babies!!!).  I will send you some really nice ones of her to post these were just too cute.  She is very sweet and my mare is an awesome mother.  I am having so much fun.  Thank you for making our dreams come true." more photos of Stormy please click here

Valentine

Valentine was a beautiful swedish warmblood colt, and a stallion prospect. Sired by Amorex, his dam Sophia is an imported diploma mare by Ganesco. Valentine is probably the closest to an Amorex clone that I have bred, except that he has his own delightful personality. Owned by Emily Briggs, he was sadly lost to colic.
