Amorex has been much more a breeding stallion than a show stallion.
Not his fault at all, simply how it worked out with work and
lifestyle. He is trained to third level with classical trainer
Bettina Drummond. Although he was only shown on a limited
basis, he still has some impressive results. and now his offspring
are doing very well in the show ring.

He was named Grand Champion, Mature Horse, Dressage. Photo below was
from the same show; he won many championships that day, including: |
In
1999 Amorex completed his performance requirement for the Swedish
Warmblood Association
with
the following USCTA Combined Training Tests: |
In 2004, Amorex showed on a limited basis with FEI trainer Morgan Barrows. He is shown in the photos below with Morgan at one of the Donida summer shows. At the same show, he was 1st place in Open Training 4 with his owner Mary Baechler, who is a truly an adult amateur rider.

We also should mention that as a foal, Amorex was the foal champion at the regional inspection near Gothenburg, Sweden. He was 26 points, and invited to the national show at Elmia. He was unable to go for logistical reasons, but his foal inspection score of 9 on type, 8 on legs, 9 on gaits, for 26 points total, is similar to the score usually held by the national champion foal (this scoring system has since been replaced in Sweden). Below, photos of Amorex at age 6 and 9 months, in Sweden. (from video, sorry about the fuzziness) |
